May 14 - Still on Sea to Sky Hwy, 114.6 miles today

Hiking in Alice Lake campground

First animal life spotted.  Note the tip of my shoe, this was a BIG slug.

Alice Lake beach

View spot.  Glad we weren't towing, had to back up to get turned around.

Sea to Sky Hwy view point parking

Kids would love Whistler's playground.  Right in town, lots of things with Olympic Games themes

Good use of left over trex decking material

David took this while I was sitting with the wifi

Low clouds had the gondola ride shut down.  Not much of a view from up high.

We stopped for a school bus, so grabbed the camera.  Couldn't take pictures of everything...so many incredible views.

We drove through areas with snow on the sides, but the road was clear.  One area the road had been cleared through an avalanche.  It was piled high on both sides of the highway.

These mean bumpy road ahead.  I learned to slow down, way down when I see these.

See the road turn right ahead?

Where we camped for the night

We passed several campgrounds that were closed and didn't know what we would find ahead, so we boondocked in the parking lot.
They just turned the power off to our camping site, so had to turn the heater off.  I wanted to at least get the pictures posted.
